HOW-TO: TYING A BOWLINE ON A BIGHT

Being able to tie a bowline on a bight provides a greater advantage over a standing bowline knot. A bowline on a bight is a handy midline knot that you can tie using any section of the rope you have available rather than just the tail-end.
