Are you required to undergo a 4-8 hour assessment on work practices, policies, and procedures that you will experience in the field? These arborist assessments can be thorough and rigorous, and some people may struggle to pass. This is why, at ACRT Arborist Training, we have created a short prep class to help arborist workers pass the required assessments.
This single-day class runs for 8 hours and is specifically designed to help arborists successfully pass vegetation management assessments. We have the capacity for 15 students per class and will provide detailed classroom instruction for all parts of these assessments.
What is Covered in the Vegetation Management Assessment Prep Class?
This single-day, classroom-only program will run from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm and will cover every aspect of the assessments, including:
- Inspection of your PPE and notification of any necessary replacements before your assessment
- Technical tree felling
- Tree climbing practices
- Aerial lift operations
- Limbing and bucking
- Chipper operations
Our instructors will take you through the details of each of the above aspects of the assessment, reviewing proper protocol, practices, and operations. They will be there to answer any of your questions and make sure you feel as prepared as possible for your assessment.
This is an eight-hour course with three dates available, including September 19, 20, and 21 from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. Each class will consist of 15 students and the cost to participate is $350 per student per day. The in-person location for this training is 3463 Double Springs Rd, Building 3, Valley Springs, California 95252.
