Instructors did a great job

“Just completed the course with little tree climbing ability. Instructors did a great job teaching all students the proper techniques and worked with each individual to make sure they felt comfortable. Great job ACRT!”

We knew we could trust ACRT

“These four days of intensive training, the bulk of which consisted of hands-on field work, was no small event. For their expertise and assistance, we brought in ACRT, Inc., a partner that we’ve worked with since 2006. That year, ACRT led our Line Clearance Certification, and we’ve worked closely with the company since. We know ACRT, and they know us. Their organization provided critical assistance when we developed more formality around our safety program at that pivotal point in our growth. We knew we could trust ACRT, and they were happy to help.”

Good focus on safety

“Just finished the Basic Arborist course at ACRT. Awesome instructors. Keith and Kevin answered all questions and took time to explain anything we needed. Good focus on safety. I learned knots, climbing techniques, lots of good information and support.”

ACRT completely changed my approach

“With 30 yrs of experience in the tree care industry I was very pessimistic about how much I would gain from this training. ACRT completely changed my approach to climbing and rigging.I can’t wait to apply the new techniques and confidence I’ve gained.”

Thank you for all your time and coordination
“Thank you for all your time and coordination in helping us complete this training right before we begin our busy season! Our group learned so much new, valuable information from Joshua, and he was extremely thorough with reinforcing and prioritizing safety amongst all crew members. This was a fantastic training for our team members, and the feedback has been 10/10 for the content we learned in the classroom and out in the field. I especially appreciate the focus on safety and recommendations around our single rope technique (SRT) climbing methods.
Thank you to Joshua for his patience with our group while we translated from English to Spanish. We hope to continue education in the coming seasons with ACRT and will be requesting him!”

I would recommend ACRT to any company

“The views and opinions expressed in the statement below are my own and do not reflect the feelings or testimony of any other individual, corporation, or entity, including the New England Chapter of the ISA.”

Having worked as a certified arborist for more than 30 years and serving as the director of operations for a large condominium community in Western Connecticut, I often faced significant difficulty attracting experienced tree climbers and professional arborists to join our staff. With responsibility for 1,000 acres of property and a staff of over 70 employees, my constant focus was on identifying ways to promote from within the organization.

Being very involved in the arboriculture industry and sharing my struggles with my colleagues of attracting qualified tree climbers to our staff, I decided to use ACRT Arborist Training to train one employee who showed interest in becoming a tree climber and a member of our in-house tree crew.

I decided to see how ACRT Arborist Training’s tree climbing training courses could benefit our team. So, we sent our employee to their training facility in Ohio for the 5-day Basic Arborist course.

Wow! That was all I could say when he returned. It was like the ACRT Arborist Training staff transformed this employee in five short days into a seasoned tree climber. The knowledge, techniques, and skill level that ACRT and its team of experienced professional trainers returned to us was invaluable

After that first employee, we sent several more employees through the years to ACRT for the basic arborist training course. ACRT never disappointed us. Each time they sent us back an amazing tree climber with the training, knowledge, and skills to handle the workload of a very busy tree crew. I would recommend ACRT to any company looking to train their employees in tree climbing. It truly is worth the effort and cost.
